I was tasked by Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG) to create a recipe postcard for presenting checks to customers at their barbecue restaurant, Blue Smoke. I designed a recipe postcard and hand-painted custom illustrations, delivering a creative and practical solution for enhancing the dining experience.

Custom illustrations and e-mail design for Maialino’s wine tasting series

Over the summer of 2023 Maialino (vino), USHG’s Roman-style wine bar and restaurant, was hosting a series of wine tastings showcasing Italy’s wine regions. With the event series called “Postcards from…” I was asked to help create postcards that would be used across marketing material to promote the events. Using their existing brand style guide, I designed custom illustrations and type to create a custom postcard for each event. I then took each postcard and created e-mails and Instagram assets.

Between promoting events and their new lunch service, Manhatta restaurant needed assets across print and digital. I’ve created for them assets for full marketing campaigns, including a menu design for the launch of their new lunch service, animated Instagram stories for special events, and check presenter postcards for customers to take home.
